7.1 Use of Google services

We use the technologies of Google Ireland Ltd, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"), as described below. The information automatically collected by Google technologies about your use of our website is usually transferred to a server of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA and stored there. For the USA, there is no adequacy decision of the European Commission. Our cooperation is based on standard data protection clauses of the European Commission. If your IP address is collected via Google technologies, it will be shortened before being stored on Google's servers by activating IP anonymization. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server and shortened there. Unless otherwise specified for the individual technologies, the data processing is based on an agreement concluded for the respective technology between jointly responsible parties in accordance with Art. 26 DSGVO. Further information about data processing by Google can be found in Google's privacy policy.

 Google Analytics

For the purpose of website analysis, Google Analytics automatically gets and stores data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your use of our website), from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. Cookies can be used for this purpose. As a matter of principle, your IP address will not be merged with other data from Google. Data processing is carried out on the basis of an order processing agreement by Google.

For the purpose of optimized marketing of our website, we have activated the data release settings for "Google products and services". This allows Google to access the data collected and processed by Google Analytics and subsequently use it to improve Google services. Data sharing with Google under these data sharing settings is based on an additional agreement between responsible parties. We have no influence on the subsequent data processing by Google.

For the creation and execution of tests, we also use the Google Analytics Google Optimize extension function.

For web analysis, the extension function of Google Analytics Google Signals gets a so-called "cross-device tracking". Insofar as your internet-enabled devices are linked to your Google account and you have activated the "personalized advertising" setting in your Google account, Google can create reports about your usage behavior (esp. cross-device user numbers), even if you change your terminal device. A processing of personal data by us does not take place in this respect, we only receive statistics generated on the basis of Google Signals.

For web analysis and advertising purposes, the Google Analytics extension function gets the so-called DoubleClick cookie to recognize your browser when you visit other websites. Google gets this information to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website usage.

 Google AdSense

Our website markets space for third-party ads through Google AdSense. These ads get displayed to you at various places on this website. Via the so-called DoubleClick cookie, the display of interest-based advertising is made possible by the collection and processing of data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website) and the automatic assignment of a pseudonymous UserID, which is used to determine interests based on visits to this and other websites.

 Google Ads

For advertising purposes in Google search results as well as on third-party websites, the so-called Google Remarketing Cookie is set when you visit our website, which automatically enables interest-based advertising by collecting and processing data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information as well as information about your use of our website) and by means of a pseudonymous CookieID and based on the pages you visit. Data processing beyond this only takes place if you have activated the "personalized advertising" setting in your Google account. In this case, if you are logged in to Google while visiting our website, Google uses your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing.

For website analysis and event tracking, we measure your subsequent usage behavior via Google Ads Conversion Tracking if you have reached our website via an advertisement from Google Ads. For this purpose, cookies may be used and data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website based on events specified by us, such as visiting a website or subscribing to a newsletter) may be collected, from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms.

 Google Maps

For the visual presentation of geographical information, Google Maps gets data about your use of the Maps functions, in particular the IP address as well as location data, transmitted to Google and subsequently processed by Google. We have no influence on this subsequent data processing.

 Google reCAPTCHA

For the purpose of protection against misuse of our web forms as well as against spam by automated software (so-called bots), Google reCAPTCHA collects data (IP address, time of visit, browser information as well as information about your use of our website) and carries out an analysis of your use of our website by means of a so-called JavaScript as well as cookies. In addition, other cookies stored by Google services in your browser are evaluated. A readout or storage of personal data from the input fields of the respective form does not take place.

 YouTube Video Plugin

To integrate third-party content, data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information) is collected via the YouTube video plugin in the extended data protection mode used by us, transmitted to Google and subsequently processed by Google only when you play a video.

7.2 Use of Microsoft services for web analysis and advertising purposes

We use the technologies of Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, D18 P521, Ireland ("Microsoft"), as described below. The data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement between jointly responsible parties in accordance with Art. 26 DSGVO. The information automatically collected by Microsoft technologies about your use of our website is usually transferred to a server of Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA and stored there. For the USA, there is no adequacy decision of the European Commission. Our cooperation is based on standard data protection clauses of the European Commission. For further information on data processing by Microsoft, please refer to Microsoft's privacy policy.

 Microsoft Advertising

For advertising purposes in the Bing, Yahoo and MSN search results and on third-party websites, when you visit our website, the so-called Microsoft Advertising Remarketing Cookie is set, which automatically enables interest-based advertising by collecting and processing data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website) and by means of a pseudonymous CookieID and based on the pages you visit.

For website analytics and event tracking, we use Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking (UET) to measure your subsequent usage patterns when you have accessed our website through a Microsoft Advertising ad. To do this, we may use cookies and collect data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website based on events we specify, such as visiting a web page or signing up for a newsletter), which we use to create usage profiles using pseudonyms. If your Internet-enabled devices are linked to your Microsoft account and you have not deactivated the "Interest-based advertising" setting in your Microsoft account, Microsoft may generate reports on usage behavior (in particular cross-device user numbers), even if you change your terminal device, so-called "cross-device tracking". We do not process personal data in this respect, we only receive statistics based on Microsoft UET.

 Bing Maps

For the visual presentation of geographical information, Bing Maps gets data about your use of the Maps functions, in particular the IP address as well as location data, transmitted to Microsoft and processed by Microsoft. We have no influence on this data processing.

7.3 Use of Facebook services

 Use of Facebook Pixel

We use the Facebook Pixel as part of the technologies of Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook") described below. With the Facebook Pixel, data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your use of our website based on events specified by us, such as a visit to a website or newsletter registration) is automatically collected and stored, from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. In the context of the so-called extended data matching, we also get information for matching purposes hashed collected and stored, with which individuals can be identified (e.g. names, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers). For this purpose, when you visit our website, the Facebook Pixel automatically gets a cookie that enables recognition of your browser when you visit other websites by means of a pseudonymous CookieID. Facebook gets this information together with other data from your Facebook account and uses it to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website use, in particular personalized and group-based advertising.
The information automatically collected by Facebook technologies about your use of our website is usually transferred to a server of Facebook, Inc, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA and stored there. There is no adequacy decision of the European Commission for the USA. Insofar as the transfer of data to the USA falls within our responsibility, our cooperation is based on standard data protection clauses of the European Commission. For further information on data processing by Facebook, please refer to Facebook's privacy policy.

 Facebook Analytics

As part of Facebook Analytics, we get statistics about visitor activity on our website from the data collected with the Facebook Pixel about your use of our website. The data processing takes place on the basis of an order processing agreement by Facebook. Their analysis serves the optimal presentation and marketing of our website.

 Facebook Ads

Through Facebook Ads, we advertise this website on Facebook as well as on other platforms. We determine the parameters of the respective advertising campaign. Facebook is responsible for the exact implementation, in particular the decision on the placement of the ads with individual users. Unless otherwise specified for the individual technologies, the data processing is based on an agreement between joint controllers pursuant to Art. 26 DSGVO. The joint responsibility is limited to the collection of the data and its transmission to Facebook Ireland. The subsequent data processing by Facebook Ireland is not covered by this.

Based on the statistics on visitor activity on our website generated via Facebook Pixel, we operate group-based advertising on Facebook via Facebook Custom Audience by determining the characteristics of the respective target group. Within the scope of the extended data matching that takes place to determine the respective target group (see above), Facebook acts as our processor.

Based on the pseudonymous cookie ID set by the Facebook Pixel and the data collected about your usage behavior on our website, we conduct personalized advertising via Facebook Pixel remarketing.
